Here are the search strings that brought people to my website in the month of October in 2011.
My friend Trena volunteered to model for me so I could practice portrait photography. We headed up to the University of Kansas campus about 6pm to catch the evening light. I'm pretty happy about how things turned out.
The rest of the album is here:

Recently I upgraded to a D700 and am really liking this camera. Here are a few pictures I've taken with it.
On January 28, 2010 I bought a Kindle 2.
The best book has been "The Great Influenza: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History" by John Barry. This is the story of the 1918 Influenza pandemic. Current theory is that it started in Haskell County, Kansas, spread to Ft. Riley and then to the world.
The worst book of the bunch and in contention for the worst book I ever read is "Microbe" by Bill Clem. Everything from the writing to the flat characters, the plot and the plot resolution was horrible.
Here are the books I've read so far.
A few were on another ereader only because the titles weren't available on the Kindle.
Bought a new lens today, a Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 VRII. I traded in my 18-200mm lens and my D300s camera. This is in preparation for me purchasing a D700. It's a pretty amazing lens. I'm liking the results so far.
These pictures were taken with my D200.
